Established Roots

Dr. Duane S. Marasco is a graduate of Washington High School and Washington & Jefferson College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology.  He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  After an internship in Illinois, he practiced in Waynesburg, PA., prior to accepting a position at East Anchorage Chiropractic Clinic in Anchorage, Alaska.  Returning to Washington, PA in 1988, he opened a private practice in his hometown.

In as few treatments as possible, Dr. Marasco seeks to help his patients return to work and resume normal activities so life can be enjoyed to its fullest.

 

He completed coursework in sports injuries and physical fitness, earning his Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) advanced degree in 1988.  Upon completing requirements and extensive testing for chiropractic orthopedics, Dr. Marasco earned his Diplomat of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics degree in 1994.  He is presently a Fellow of the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (FIANM).  In 2001, he obtained extensive training in high resolution telethermographic imaging (thermography).  In 2018, Dr. Marasco obtained the PSP (Primary Spine Practitioner) designation from the University of Pittsburgh's inaugural program as part of the advanced placement cohort.  He has since served as an examiner and proctor for PSP students.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Marasco enjoys the outdoors, is involved in his church activities, and most importantly, enjoys spending time with his wife, 4 sons, and 3 grandchildren.

​

Now, Dr. Marasco is excited to bring his experience to those unable to travel or those who prefer the convenience of a home visit because of life's circumstances.
